Traditionally, a quinceañera is a ceremony that celebrates the transition from childhood to young adulthood. Some families choose to follow a custom of incorporating a doll that represents the last “toy” of the young lady’s childhood. Sometimes the doll is GIVEN to the quinceañera as her last doll and other times the quinceañera GIVES the doll to a younger sibling or other young child of importance.
